Wizarding Tradition - Death Knights of the Black Tower

Death Knights of the Black tower are an organization of Necromancers who practice both martial and spell casting.

They are typically Fighters/Wizards and prestige into Eldritch Knights.

The schools they study are Necromancy, Transmutation and Evocation [Ice]. Though Chain Lightning is popular among high level students as something learned on their own.  

Typically a Death Knight (most of whom are undead themselves, though some simply wish to become undead) raise an army of minions that they buff with their transmutation spells, then wade into battle with their weapons, heavy armor and ice spells, secure in the knowledge that most of their minions are resistant to ice damage.

Death Knights are generally unwelcome in most civilized places. Typically if a Death Knight rides into a town its because he wishes it to become his. Death Knights often get their way.

The Death knights and other necromancers of the tower are lead by the mysterious Child Queen. An ancient youth vampire well over 2000 years old. She formed the tower and named her first Death knights as her guardians to watch over her while she slept.
